RÉDUCTION DU CO2
RÉDUCTION DU SMOG
The UC105i is a 105 HP electronic fuel injection (EFI) engine designed as a direct replacement for the Rotax 912 ULS. It preserves full mechanical compatibility — same mounts, orientation, and interface — while introducing digital control over combustion and fuel delivery.
Designed for ultralight and experimental airframes, UC105i delivers precise throttle response, high-altitude performance, and ethanol fuel capability — all in a package with dry weight 1 kg lighter than Rotax 912 ULS.
French DSAC-registered for ultralight (ULM) aircraft.
The UC105i delivers 105 HP maximum and 98 HP continuous power, with electronic fuel injection continuously adjusting mixture and ignition based on real-time altitude, temperature, and throttle inputs. This enables stable performance up to 18,000 ft, with no pilot-managed leaning.
Fuel consumption at 75% cruise:
EFI ensures reliable starts in cold or hot weather, without choke or priming. Compared to legacy mechanical systems, the UC105i delivers consistent combustion and throttle response — reducing fuel burn, emissions, and cockpit workload.
When used with E85 aircraft fuel, the UC105i qualifies as an eco-friendly aircraft engine, offering up to 78% CO₂ reduction and eliminating lead emissions.
The UC105i uses a single-ECU system with built-in fallback logic and redundant sensors and injectors. Critical engine functions are duplicated to ensure safe operation in case of a component fault — without requiring pilot input.
Key system elements:
Dual RPM sensors in parallel - 4 in total
Two injectors per cylinder (8 total)
One high-pressure electric fuel pump + 1 backup
One mechanical low-pressure pump (Rotax OEM)
Built-in failover modes for injection, ignition, and fuel pressure
If a sensor or pump fails, the ECU automatically switches to backup maps and hardware. A dedicated EFIS display provides diagnostics and live alerts.
The UC105i supports FlexFuel operation with automatic fuel blend recognition — no switches, no manual programming.
Supported fuels:
SP95, SP98, SP95-E10, UL91
Avgas 100LL
E85, E100 bioethanol
E85 is widely available in France at ~€0.80/l. The system automatically adjusts injection and ignition timing, making the UC105i both cost-efficient and emissions-conscious — with up to 78% less CO2 and 90% fewer fine particles compared to leaded fuel.
Delivered as a complete EFI retrofit kit, the UC105i installs directly in place of the Rotax 912 ULS. No structural changes or custom mounts are required.
Included components:
Fully assembled UC105i engine
ECU with internal failover logic
Dual electric high-pressure fuel pumps
Mechanical low-pressure fuel pump
Redundant RPM, MAP, and temperature sensors
Preconfigured fuel lines and return loop
Engine wiring harness and ECU connectors
Touchscreen EFIS (live monitoring, diagnostics)
Full installation manual
Technical support
This EFI kit replaces the 912 ULS while maintaining compatibility with existing exhaust systems, airframes, and cowlings.
The UC105i is designed for quick retrofit into any airframe using the Rotax 912 ULS. No frame drilling, cowling redesign, or reconfiguration is needed.
With no carburetors and fewer mechanical adjustments, the UC105i reduces operating time and cost. The engine’s digital core enables smarter, preventive maintenance. EFI diagnostics help predict issues before they become failures.
No carb balancing
Real-time engine health via EFIS
Remote firmware updates
Predictive fault detection
Full documentation and pilot/technician support
If a component fails, the system maintains engine function using safe fallback profiles. Notifications are shown via EFIS, and no immediate action is required from the pilot.
UC105i is compatible with aircraft originally configured for the Rotax 912 ULS. Successfully installed on:
VL3 Evolution
Bristell XL8
Eurofox by AEROPRO
Magni Gyro
Other ultralight and experimental airframes in the 100 HP category

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: Is the UC105i compatible with my ultralight aircraft?
Yes — it’s a direct-fit Rotax 912 replacement, using the same mount points, exhausts, and accessories. Made to feet 95% of aircrafts on the market.
Q2: What fuel types can I use with this EFI system?
SP95, SP98, SP95-E10, UL91, 100LL Avgas, and E85 aircraft fuel. The ECU detects and adapts to each type automatically.
Q3: Do I need to reconfigure anything for E85?
No. The E85 compatible EFI system handles ethanol blends natively. No user action or hardware change is needed.
Q4: What happens if a sensor fails mid-flight?
The engine has redundant inputs and failsafe logic. If a critical sensor fails, it automatically switches to fallback maps and continues operation. Alerts are shown on the EFIS.
Q5: How much weight does the UC105i save compared to 912iS?
The UC105i is 10.5 kg lighter than the 912iS and 1 kg lighter than the 912 ULS — despite its full EFI and dual-pump setup.
